We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Central Machinery Support Manager to lead and develop our dynamic Machinery Sales Support team at our Head Office in Rosehill, Carlisle.
As a key player in our Central Management Team, you'll collaborate across departments to align with dealer standards, financial controls, and strategic goals, while spearheading system management, reporting, training coordination, brand support, and admin processes -all while keeping customer satisfaction front and centre.

THE JOB
As a central figure in our Machinery Management Team, you'll be responsible for:
* Driving sales performance and supporting a focused, high-performing Machinery team.
* Providing direct support to Sales Managers, including menu pricing and initiatives to stimulate sales growth.
* Managing bonus schemes and reviewing monthly claims to ensure accuracy and fairness.
* Supporting Depot Managers with seamless integration and induction of new depot sales operations.
* Championing electronic sales processes, including CRM and other systems, while ensuring full compliance.
* Delivering clear, concise reports to key stakeholders at agreed intervals.
* Leading system access and management for manufacturer platforms (e.g. Krone, Weidemann).
* Overseeing commission control and reporting, ensuring transparency and consistency.
* Monitoring and reporting on e-commerce stock status for new and used machinery, including Drop Ship Orders.
* Identifying and addressing training needs across the Sales team to meet dealer standards in a timely manner.
* Collaborating with the Central Commercial Sales Manager to support stock optimisation and quarterly stock checks.
* Acting as the key link between Head Office support functions including Finance, IT, and Marketing.
* Leading and developing the Machinery Admin Team, fostering a knowledgeable, cohesive, and consistent support function.
* Visiting depots regularly to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement in sales support.
* Implementing demo and hire procedures with regional sales and depot managers, including live tracking of on-farm equipment.
* Centralising internal and external haulage systems, working closely with regional teams.
* Adhering to company policies and procedures, especially those related to Safety, Health, and Environment.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and assurance schemes, including UFAS, FIAS, and NOPS.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED
Essential Skills
Experience of building relationships with, and supporting sales teams
Proven, demonstrable experience of identifying and implementing process efficiencies across departments.
A 'people-person' who can communicate in a positive and constructive manner, with all internal and external stakeholders.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised, inspiring person who can lead and develop a strong, cohesive team
Understanding of stock optimisation, write-downs, and budget monitoring.
Proven ability to lead admin teams and manage pooled capacity.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business.
Strong organisational and project management abilities.
Desirable Skills
Familiarity with AGCO, Yamaha, and other manufacturer dealer standards.
Experience managing dealer portals and compliance feedback.
Experience developing or supporting online sales channels (e.g. cash & carry models).
Proven experience managing CRM / IBCOS and/or D365 platforms and integrations.
