HousekeeperPermanent, Full Time (31.25 hours per week) We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Housekeeper to join our warm and friendly team at Whitgift House. You will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for service users, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will undertake all aspects of cleaning duties and deliver a high standard laundry service, ensuring that services meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with statutory and Foundation regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain health and safety standards for service users and staff. Clean and sanitise washrooms, communal areas, and work rooms. Cleaning duties including vacuuming carpets, shampooing, hard floor mopping, dusting, polishing, and sanitising. Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, and ironing Ensure cleaning supplies are used safely and stored correctly Report any maintenance or safety issues to management Promote a secure, relaxed and homely environment, ensuring the privacy, self-respect, dignity, and wellbeing of each individual. About You Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience as well as an understanding of hygiene and infection control standards is preferred, but not essential.
