THE POSITION
An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to be based at Damhead Creek (preferred), Rye House or Shoreham. As part of our Group Engineering Team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of large-scale projects along with all Compliance Requirements associated with our mechanical, pressure systems & large rotating plant assets across the Portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reporting to a Mechanical Engineer Lead you will also assist in maintenance activities when required to keep the plant running round the clock to deliver for our customers.
2. You will be part of a team ensuring our assets comply with regulatory, industry and company best practices & standards
3. Your input will be essential to ensure the company business objectives are met whilst maintaining & ensuring safe, reliant and profitable generation.
4. As part of our engineering team large scale maintenance projects, upgrades with flexibility and reliability driven focus will be part of your objectives
