About the Role


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Commercial to lead & grow our own brands; By BEAUTY BAY and Samplr Beauty.


Responsibilities


* Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term commercial strategy for BEAUTY BAY’s own brands.
* Own top and bottom-line growth as well as key commercial KPI’s such as Revenue, Cash Margin, AOV and Net Contribution.
* Track sales performance & identifying opportunities to grow & increase market share in the UK and other territories.
* Drive customer engagement & retention by ensuring Commercial plans align with Brand campaigns, product launches, and other promotional activity.
* Work in partnership with NPD, Merchandising, Operations, E-Commerce & Marketing to support the delivery.
* Work with NPD to determine and track the commercial viability of new products as well as identify when products have reached end of live.
* Review and share performance insights with colleagues to assist in brand decision making.
* Clearly understand market pricing and develop pricing strategy for all products/categories.
* Work with E-Commerce to ensure the customer journey for own brand customers is optimised using data to highlight trends & customer behaviour patterns.


About You


* Experienced senior Category, Buying or Commercial manager.
* Relevant online retail experience, ideally beauty or skincare however, we are open to candidates from other trend led, fast-paced sectors (e.g. fashion, sports apparel).
* A passion for the skincare and beauty market.
* Experience executing trade marketing tactics.
* Commercially minded and performance driven.
* Highly organised, able to effortlessly manage multiple work streams at the same time.
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Advanced financial / analytical skills, able to interpret data to drive and measure success.
* Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter who thrives in an environment that strongly values individuals with a bias-for-action and execution.
