The Role We are looking for experienced Electrical Technician or Electrical Maintenance Engineers who would be interested in working as an Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Technician (full training provided). In this role you'll support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our client's EfW plant. Responsibilities: Calibration of instrumentation (Level, Temperature, Pressure, Flow etc.) Fault finding and rectifying problems on DCS, SCADA and PLC's. Control panels and wiring standards. Motors / Switchgear cubicles. Variable speed drives (VSD's). Circuit breakers / Electrical transformers. Awareness of High Voltage equipment Ability to read and work from EC&I drawings / documents. Experience / knowledge of safe systems of work including permit to work, method statements and risk assessments.
