We're looking for someone who's organised, enthusiastic, and ready to learn to join us as a Supply Planning Assistant.
In this role, you'll help make sure our stores and online shop have the stock they need, when they need it. You'll be responsible for placing orders with suppliers, tracking deliveries, and making sure we have the right amount of stock for everyday sales and special events like promotions or new product launches.
You'll also help keep our planning tools and reports up to date, and work with suppliers to make sure they're delivering on time and meeting expectations.
It's a great opportunity to build your skills and experience in a fast-moving retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* To determine and raise purchase order requirements in line with vendor lead times, balancing availability and costs.
* Manage and prioritise the open orders within your area to minimise out of stocks and drive availability instore and on-line.
* Deliver strong promotional and range review availability.
* To maintain reports and tools with key information - weekly summaries, ordering systems and best practice documentation.
* To manage our vendor base and ensure they are performing to our required standards.
* To understand and manage our vendors OTIF performance.
Location:
This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office.
Key Requirements:
* Ability to work cross functionally – with category, commercial planning and warehousing teams.
* Ability to create trusted and effective relationships with suppliers.
* Ability to create effective relationships, ensuring best practise is met and maintained across the function.
* Desire to make things better than they already are.
* Able to think creatively to solve problems.
* Intermediate Excel skills.
* Ability to interpret and manipulate data.
