About Buckler’s Lodge
Buckler’s Lodge is a modern residential and dementia care home in Crowthorne, near Wokingham, offering 24/7 care. The location includes stunning grounds, modern bedrooms with en‑suite wetrooms, a lounge, dining areas, a library, a cinema, a bistro and a private dining room, and daily on‑site nutritious meals.
Responsibilities
* Give support and care to residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
* Assist residents who require help to dress, undress, wash, bathe and use the toilet.
* Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
* Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene such as incontinence.
* Promote and adhere to Greensleeves Care Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
Qualifications
* Understanding of the needs of residents.
* Understanding of confidentiality importance.
* QCF diploma in care level 2 or equivalent (desirable).
* Experience of providing care (desirable).
* Experience of working with elders (desirable).
