We have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a fast-growing contractor in Central London. This role is ideal for someone with 3-4 years’ experience and a drive to progress and grow with a company. About the company: Established company of 30 years that is now looking to skyrocket in the M&E London market. Originally based out of Bristol but now moving to central London with 4 projects already ongoing and many in the pipeline. These projects are commercial and residential based so are happy to speak with people from either background. The Role: The Electrical Project Engineer plays a vital role in managing electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a good background in electrical engineering and a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple projects within time and budget constraints. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and equipment for M&E projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Prepare detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any technical challenges. Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues. Prepare documentation, including technical reports, project specifications, and design calculations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer, preferably within the M&E sector. Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and safety regulations.
