Aston House Care Ltd in Hereford provides support for Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health Needs. The residential home supports up to 19 adults, offering a variety of supportive pathways, personalised to suit each person’s specific needs. We are focused on the strengths, interests and dreams of each person we support, our staff are our heroes and they need a leader!
We are looking for a Care Home Manager who:

Be Brave – We encourage our staff teams to be creative and innovative in the way things are done. We want our Managers to listen to their staff and share ideas.
Quality – We lead the sector on quality from the support we provide to the people we support to the training we provide to our staff. We provide an excellent induction and a sector leading training programme. We encourage our staff to enrole on training courses and pay for training costs when staff undertake training for the benefit of Aston House.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who leads by example and thrives in a supportive, people-focused environment.
Shifts (5 per week):
Mon-Fri: 8:00am – 4:00pm (3pm on Fridays)
Possible Additional shifts depending on staffing needs
What We’re Looking For:
-Experienced as a Registered Care Home Manager
-Committed to supporting people to live lifestyles of their choosing
-To work effectively and professionally ensuring all staff are aware of Company policies, procedures, aims,
objectives and philosophy of the company
-Has broad experience of managing people, service and quality within Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
-Demonstrates positive values
-Able to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect
-Holds a QCF 5 (or Equivement) in Health and Social Careor be already working towards
-Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
-Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice
