This is a full-time hybrid role, giving you the best of both worlds - time spent developing software and collaborating face-to-face with your team typically in the office Monday to Wednesday, alongside the flexibility of working from home on Thursday and Friday. From our public website and member platforms to our mobile app and the kits that power thousands of weekly group sessions across the UK and Ireland – your work will be felt by millions. Technical skills we're looking for… You don’t need to tick every box – we’re far more interested in your potential, mindset and approach to building great software. solid experience as a Software Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering production-ready software and taking ownership of features from development through to release client-side application development using React and React Native, with opportunities to gain exposure to C# .NET. Experience with these or similar modern JavaScript frameworks would be ideal comfortable working with cloud-based platforms, with Azure experience a bonus a strong approach to quality, including writing and maintaining unit tests using modern testing frameworks good understanding of modern engineering practices, such as clean code, reusable components and sensible architectural patterns knowledge of web technologies and APIs, with an appreciation for performance, security and reliability a collaborative communicator, able to explain technical ideas clearly and work closely with product owners, designers and other stakeholders experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery teams, contributing to stand-ups, refinement sessions and continuous improvement.
