A specialist primary setting in West London is looking to add several SEND Teaching Assistants to its team. The school supports pupils with autism, communication needs, sensory processing differences and a range of learning needs, and is expanding provision from September.
This role suits someone who is patient, consistent and confident working with children who rely on clear routines, reassurance and structured support.
About the Role
You will be working with pupils across EYFS–KS2 who need additional help with:
* Autism and communication development
* Sensory regulation
* Understanding routines and expectations
* Building confidence and independence
* Social and emotional skills
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
* Providing 1:1 and small‑group support
* Following structured teaching methods and visual systems
* Helping pupils stay calm, settled and engaged
* Supporting speech, language and communication activities
* Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and support teams
* Contributing to EHCP targets and personalised learning plans

* Experience in a SEND, autism or specialist provision (school or care background welcome)
* A steady, calm approach and a genuine interest in working with children who need additional support
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
* Someone reliable, proactive and able to follow guidance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
