The ideal candidate will have significant experience delivering large-scale global Workday implementations, with a strong focus on Workday Financials, cross-module coordination, and stakeholder engagement at the executive level.
As a senior leader in the practice, you will serve as both a strategic advisor and delivery lead, overseeing teams through every phase of the transformation lifecycle - from discovery to deployment and post-production support.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, high-calibre team driving meaningful change for some of the UK’s most dynamic organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead large-scale, multi-phase Workday transformation programmes, with a particular focus on Workday Financials including Core Finance, Procurement, Projects, Expenses, and Reporting.
* Provide executive-level programme governance, including budget management, milestone tracking, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, helping shape strategic direction and deliver measurable transformation outcomes.
* Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary delivery teams across business, technology, and third-party vendors.
* Facilitate discovery workshops to align business goals with Workday capabilities and process standardisation.
* Strong at getting into the detail on RAID logs and working closely with workstream and technical leads to plan and execute timely delivery.
* Oversee the configuration, integration, testing, and deployment of Workday solutions.
* Drive effective change management, user adoption strategies, and post-go-live support models.
* Support business development efforts through proposal development, solution architecture, and stakeholder presentations.
Required Skills and Experience:
* 10+ years of programme or project leadership experience in enterprise SaaS, ERP, or digital transformation programmes.
* 5+ years of Workday experience, including successful delivery of at least two full-cycle Workday Financials implementations.
* Demonstrable experience leading large-scale transformation programmes valued over £8-10 billion, ideally in complex, multi-entity or regulated environments.
* Strong understanding of Finance and HR business processes, including General Ledger, Procurement, Expenses, and Financial Planning.
* Hands-on experience with delivery frameworks (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) and enterprise-level governance structures.
* Proven ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams, including technical, functional, and business stakeholders.
* Executive stakeholder management with strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Experience with integration and reporting tools such as Workday Studio, Prism Analytics, or Adaptive Planning is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Workday Financials or Workday Pro certification.
* Financial background or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
* UK-based delivery experience across public and private sectors.
