We are searching for an exceptional Personal Assistant to support the Founding Partner of a well-established, family-run law firm based in Central London. \nThis is a dynamic and varied position supporting both the Founding and Managing Partners of the firm. The successful candidate will be adaptable and emotionally intelligent, able to shift between the differing needs and working styles of two senior executives. The primary focus will be on the Founding Partner, providing comprehensive personal assistance including diary and inbox management, arranging appointments, attending meetings to take notes and set reminders, managing correspondence, and offering general support with a calm, professional, and discreet approach. Support for the Managing Partner will centre around assisting with scheduling, briefings, and a range of administrative, personal and professional tasks.

\nThe ideal candidate will be a polished, highly dependable, and patient professional with at least 3–4 years of experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant. Experience supporting senior-level executives and managing personal matters is essential. A background in the legal sector is strongly preferred, as familiarity with legal terminology and processes is important for success in this role.

\nThis is a full-time, office-based role in Central London, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. The position offers a stable schedule with minimal out-of-hours expectations, and weekends are respected, allowing for a healthy work–life balance.

\nDUTIES INCLUDE:
\n• Provide day-to-day support to both the Founding Partner and Managing Partner
\n• Manage diaries and inboxes, ensuring schedules are up to date and well-organised
\n• Arrange and coordinate personal appointments (medical, social, etc.) for the Founding Partner
\n• Attend meetings, take detailed notes, and set reminders/follow-up actions
\n• Draft and manage personal correspondence on behalf of the Founding Partner
\n• Act as a gatekeeper and liaison, managing access to the Partners and ensuring time is used efficiently
\n• Keep the Founding Partner well-briefed, including reminders of previous meetings and key contacts
\n• Provide discreet, calm, and professional support on ad hoc personal tasks
\n• Assist the Managing Partner with scheduling, briefings, and administrative duties
\n• Adapt to different working styles and needs of two senior executives
\n• Represent the partners with professionalism and discretion, including in client-facing situations
\n• Manage all administration for Founding Partner’s three main properties including communicating with household staff
\n
\nESSENTIAL CRITERIA
\n• At least 3-4 years of longevity in a corporate or legal environment (law firm experience is preferred)
\n• Legal qualifications such as a paralegal certificate, legal secretarial training, or equivalent experience supporting legal professionals are highly desirable
\n• Excellent written and spoken English with a meticulous eye for detail
\n• A calm, kind, and patient demeanour with a strong sense of discretion
\n• High emotional intelligence and the ability to anticipate needs
\n• A naturally proactive approach and excellent time management skills
\n• A polished, professional presence and confidence when interacting with clients
\n• A culturally aware outlook and strong common sense
\n• London-based with the right to work in the UK
