A great opportunity managing an established sales area covering the South West of England (South & West of Birmingham) & South Wales for a manufacturer of food processing machinery supplied to the food industry, with a £100K package on offer to the successful candidate. \nSeeking an experienced field Sales Manager who has sold food process & / or packaging machinery. \n \nBASIC SALARY: circa £55,000 \n \nBENEFITS: \n· Uncapped commission to earn circa £30,000 \n· Choice of Hybrid Company Car \n· Good Pension \n· Private Healthcare \n \nLOCATION: Home based and covering the South West of England - south and west of Birmingham - you must live in the area.
\n \nCOMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Bristol, Birmingham, Swindon, Bath, Exeter, Gloucester, Cheltenham \n \nJOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - food processing machinery, packaging machinery, PPMA, AutomateUK \n \nA classic Area Sales Manager role managing an established sales area and a portfolio of blue chip accounts in the food industry (specifically in the meat, cheese, pet food, bakery, dairy and confectionery markets) with a brief to grow the turnover organically over time. \n \nThis is a hands on sales role involving the demo and install of basic equipment plus some involvement in project management. \n \nPERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - food processing machinery, packaging machinery, PPMA, AutomateUK \n \n· You WILL have a proven track record in sales of process or packaging machinery or similar into the food industry.
\n· Specific experience of food process machinery & / or of selling into the meat, cheese, pet food & bakery markets would be advantageous. \n· You WILL ideally have a technical background and engineering qualifications. \n \nTHE COMPANY: \n \nThis is a very well established and successful UK sales and service office for a European manufacturer of food processing machinery supplied to the food industry.
