Overview
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will look after the varying needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. You will supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, and you may also support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. Your role will involve respecting the dignity and preferences of residents and contributing to a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide caring and supportive care to residents.
* Supervise and motivate a team of Care Assistants.
* Collaborate with the Deputy General Manager.
* Assist the clinical team in medication management, assessments, care planning and reviews.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
* Warm‑hearted, compassionate, and committed to providing individualized care.
