Job Title: Vessel Operator
Location: Glasgow, UK

We are representing a hands-on owner/manager with a fleet of tankers, container ships, and bulk carriers. Unlike third-party managers, they operate directly on the owner’s side, giving its teams full accountability and impact across every aspect of vessel operations and performance. What will you be doing?
* Overseeing day-to-day commercial and operational activity for assigned vessels
* Liaising with Masters, Charterers, Technical, and HSEQ teams
* Managing voyage execution, bunker coordination, and cargo operations
* Supporting post-fixture work, P&L tracking, and claims handling
* Driving performance and compliance across assigned vessels
Are you the ideal candidate?
* Sailing experience as Deck Officer on Tankers, Bulk Carriers, or Container / OR prior shore-based operations role
* We're open to training someone who's more junior in their career
* Understanding of Charter Party terms, stowage, and voyage planning
* Strong communicator, organised and commercially aware
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and collaborative mindset
* UK work eligibility essential
