Carers support is required for a young male adult with special/complex needs and long-term medical health conditions.
The role involves working within his home setting for a family of Christian faith and values; candidates with similar faiths and values are preferred.
The position includes supporting all structured activities and daily routines, such as personal cares, meal preparation and cooking, cleaning his space, and taking him on weekly outdoor activities.
The young man has a fun and caring nature, enjoys music and dancing, and is very energetic.
A driver with own vehicle and business use is essential.
Training relevant to the role will be provided.
DBS and reference checks are required; costs will be covered by the local authority.
The Direct Payments Support Service, provided by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, promotes independent choice and inclusion, supporting individuals to employ their own care and support staff, including support workers, carers, and personal assistants.
Travel
Some travel across East Riding of Yorkshire may be required; applicants must be able to transport themselves.
