Job Summary
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accurate processing of accounts payable, and maintaining the integrity of our accounting systems. This position is ideal for individuals who are organised, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for finance.
Responsibilities
Day to Day Bookkeeping and accounts
* Collecting supplier invoices – matching to delivery notes and purchase order system
* Chasing any queries, with whoever ordered goods.
* Invoice and records filing.
Transaction Entry & Management of Company SAGE system
* Maintain all bank accounts and company credit cards.
* Enter all sales and purchase invoices.
* Enter all payments and receipts.
* Reconciliation of bank, credit card, loan, supplier statements.
* Reconciling supplier account statements to Sage P/L.
* Stock control on Sage accounts.
* Track cash payments and reconcile cash account.
* Enter SAGE Payroll and reconciling to HMRC/Accounts/Payroll
* Payment of Suppliers & Chasing of Debtors - including emails and telephone calls
* Generation of Sales Ledger statements sent.
* Debtors chased for payment.
Management of Bank accounts
* Including HSBC Bank accounts.
* Credit Card accounts.
* PayPal Account & online transactions.
Completion and Submission of 1/4rly VAT Returns
* Quarterly VAT returns incl. EC sales list returns.
* Paying VAT due.
* Reconciling with HMRC.
Preparation of year end accounts for company accountant – subject to stock
Monthly SAGE Payroll
* Entering to Sage accounts and reconciling to HMRC/Accounts/Payroll
* Paying P32 every month
Calculation, Allocation and Submission NEST Pension Contributions
* Paying required amounts to NEST
* Reconciling NEST with Sage
Negotiate Electricity contracts
Weekly Company Overview
Answer telephone when required.
Skills
Essential:
* Previous experience in an accounts administration role.
* Experience in both accounts payable and receivable.
* Strong numerical and data entry skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SAGE accounting software.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
