The role
Our client is a globally recognized, industry:leading manufacturer situated in Telford, who has a superb opportunity for a skilled Design Engineer to join their Technical Department.

What youll be doing
* Supporting the design and development of automated machinery, equipment and component parts
* Redesigning the configuration of existing equipment to improve functionality, reliability and longevity
* Developing proposals and solutions to optimise the quality of production output
* Supporting the drafting of Technical Manuals in line with agreed company standards
* Ensuring equipment, parts and other materials are ordered in a cost:effective, responsible and auditable manner
* Ensuring quality standards, including ISO9001 and 1SO14001, are maintained
* Ensuring all project work is undertaken in a safe, responsible and timely manner, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and completion deadlines
What youll need
* A minimum of an HNC or Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
* Proficient with Autodesk (essential)
* Time:served within a manufacturing background (FMCG or similar is highly desirable)

* Excellent problem:solving abilities
* Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas and concepts to a range of stakeholders
