Job description
We are currently seeking a individual to join our team as a Business Administration Foundation Apprentice within a busy administrative office of the Councils Building Services Department based in Tregelles Court Neath Abbey.
You will work closely with experienced staff learning new skills and gathering valuable experience in a Building Services environment providing an administrative support service to the Building Services.
An ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is an essential requirement for this post and the successful applicant will be expected to work in a professional manner, respecting the confidentiality of employees and their information at all times.
Sensitivity and attention to detail is also key as the successful candidate will be expected
to produce letters and reports and maintain computerised and manual information recording systems which will include personal details ensuring strict confidentiality. As a Business Administration Foundation Apprentice, you will.
Your daily routine will.
1. Assist in the answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries.
2. Assist in the maintenance of computerised records/management information systems and process information in accordance with defined procedures and standard.
3. Assist in the provision of routine clerical support including photocopying, filing, e-mailing, complete routine forms and telephony duties.
4. Undertake routine administration in support of the functions of the Building Services Division.
5. Be aware of and comply with corporate policies and procedures including those relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.

A requirement to have attained minimum of 2 GCSE&s, minimum grade C - Maths and English/Welsh or their equivalent.
