They are searching for a driven, experienced Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on projects across a variety of sectors, based near the thriving, historical port city of Plymouth.

Responsibilities for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
7. Delivering all stages of a variety of projects, in a design capacity
8. Producing hydraulic models and surveys
9. Using a variety of software systems to prepare models, reports, and other technical documents
10. Liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
11. Attending site visits and other meetings as a representative of the company
12. Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety measures at all times
Required skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
13. A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Hydrology or Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant discipline)
14. Experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
15. Demonstrable experience of wastewater modelling
16. Proficient in the use of InfoWorks ICM (1D and 2D), and other relevant software packages
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
17. Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
18. Actively working to attain Chartered Status
19. Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
20. Knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
