Join Our Team as a Technical Solutions Engineer, HVAC!

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of HVAC solutions? As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the post-order process and providing essential technical support to our Data Centre Sales and Project Management teams. You will be the primary post-sale point of contact, ensuring smooth order processing and effective coordination with Carrier factories and third-party suppliers.
This role is crucial for the commercial success of our UK&I Data Centre business unit. You will manage the order-to-delivery lifecycle, support effective cash collection, and provide accurate sales forecasts, acting as a key operational interface between Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Customer Care leadership.
Your Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will:
* Support the Sales team with customer inquiries and tender bids.
* Engage directly with clients, consultants, and designers to produce detailed and accurate selections.
* Manage the end-to-end post-order process from order receipt through to delivery.
* Oversee the review and approval of Technical Submittals with the Project Management team.
* Act as the main point of contact for customers post-sale, providing clear and proactive communication.
* Assist the Project Delivery Team to ensure seamless execution from order intake to final delivery.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in a technical sales or project delivery role, particularly in HVAC or building services.
* Experience supporting multi-disciplinary teams, including customer care, sales, and project delivery.
* A strong understanding of tender inquiries, product selections, technical submittals, and the post-order handover process.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions in a matrix organization.
* Outstanding communication skills, capable of handling escalations and complex customer situations.
* Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
