Paediatric Nurse (RSCN) – Children’s Ward
Leeds Hospital – Bank – Part Time. Bank rounds are ad‑hoc and not contracted to a fixed number of hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality, clinically effective care to children aged 3‑16 during pre‑ and post‑operative stays and in clinic or procedure settings.
* Act as a trusted supporter for patients and their parents or guardians throughout the hospital journey.
* Support the multi‑specialty ward team and broaden skills across a wide variety of cases.
* Work within different specialty areas and act as part of the clinical team.
* Deliver care in a detail‑oriented and empathic manner, applying post‑registration experience gained on a surgical ward.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered on the appropriate governing body, e.g., NMC.
* Post‑registration experience, ideally on a surgical ward.
* Intermediate Life Support (ILS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
* Passion for exceptional patient care and willingness to support children and families.
