Morrison Energy Services are currently looking to recruit Dual Fuel Smart Meter Technicians to work across the South of the UK. This covers the Seeboard, London, Southern and SWEB DNO / GSP areas. You will beworking on behalf of EON, Who are committed to becoming one of Europe’s largest Green Solutions Installers and as a result are undergoing a transformation of workforce upskilling to solutions capability.
As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Technician, you will be a part of an enthusiastic, dynamic team, installing smart meters for a major energy provider. This is an exciting time to join our team! As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Technician your duties & responsibilities will include:
1. Installing and exchanging both electric and gas Smart Meters in a variety of premises using a handheld device.
2. Completing prescribed testing procedures in accordance with industry standards and codes of practice.
3. Completing all associated administrative work.
4. Achieving and exceeding work performance targets whilst adhering to all health and safety procedures, industry standards and codes of practice.
5. Participating in out of hours’ emergency On Call rota.
6. Delivering excellent customer service, providing tailored energy efficiency advice and helping customers realise the benefits of having smart meters installed.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
7. CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 all with MET1, or NVQ Level 2 Smart Metering Dual Fuel
8. Experience installing gas and electric smart meters
9. Have previous MOCOPA experience to multi rate level (3 phase is beneficial)
10. Ideally have been registered on the EUSR portal (not essential)
11. Effective customer service skills
12. Full, current manual driving licence (maximum 6 points)
13. Additional qualifications such as REGT1, 3 phase etc. are desirable but not essential

14. 36k basic salary (+3k London Weighting – inside the M25), realistic OTE £48k per annum
15. £1000 Safety Bonus per year, paid at 6-month intervals
16. £1000 Attendance Bonus per year, paid at 6-month intervals
17. Uncapped additional productivity related bonus
18. Additional Skill set bonus - £1000 added to salary for 3phase and/or Medium Pressure (once trained/authorised by MES)
19. Regular overtime paid at time and a half and double time on Sundays
