About the Role This is a hands-on Early Years Assistant position, where you will: Work within ratio supporting the nursery team Provide 1:1 support to children at different times of the day Help deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment Pay & Contract £13.21 per hour Pro-rata salary: £24,796 Annual leave paid on top (term-time only role) Start: ASAP Initially until July 2026 Strong possibility of continuing in September 2026 What We’re Looking For Level 2 (minimum) in Early Years / Childcare (essential) Experience working with young children (2) Good understanding of the EYFS Ability to support children with additional needs (desirable) Strong communication and teamwork skills Safer Recruitment This role is subject to: Enhanced DBS check References & qualification checks Right to work in the UK Why Apply?
