The Role
This is a senior interim opportunity within a fast-paced and acquisitive UK business. The role will take ownership of core financial reporting activities, manage a small reporting team, and ensure continuity and robustness in reporting during a period of ongoing change.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full ownership of the budget cycle
2. Lead cash flow forecasting
3. Preparation and delivery of board-level reporting
4. Ownership of the statutory accounts process
5. Responsibility for group reporting
6. Line management of a reporting team of three
7. Support wider financial reporting requirements across the UK business
8. Quickly embed into the function and add value in an interim capacity
Experience Required
9. Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
10. Background from practice or industry
11. Strong hands-on statutory accounts preparation experience
12. Proven group reporting experience
13. Able to hit the ground running
14. Comfortable managing a small reporting team
15. Experience operating in fast-moving or acquisitive environments advantageous
