Responsibilities
* Lead and maintain our Environmental Management System (EMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and environmental legislation.
* Drive improvements in energy, carbon, water, waste, and emissions performance.
* Deliver projects that support Net Zero and circular‑economy ambitions.
* Manage waste streams and recycling partnerships, ensuring compliance with effluent discharge consents.
* Partner with procurement and supply chain to ensure ethical sourcing and sustainable packaging.
* Represent the business to customers, regulators and community groups on sustainability matters.
* Inspire and engage colleagues to build a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
* IEMA Practitioner or Member and ISO 14001 audit knowledge.
* Strong experience in environmental management (FMCG or food manufacturing preferred).
* Knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance frameworks.
* Strategic thinker with hands‑on project management skills.
* Passion for sustainability and ability to influence cultural change.
