Nights Residential Child Care Worker
Children and Family Services – East Lancashire (covering homes in Burnley, Nelson, Padiham, Clitheroe, Accrington, Haslingden).
Salary: £28,142 - £32,061 per annum (pro rata if part time). Full‑time (37 hrs/week) and part‑time positions available.
International sponsorship: this role is not open to international sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
* You will work at various homes across the East Lancashire cluster; access to your own vehicle is essential.
* Provide night care and support to children in residential care, ensuring the home is secure and responding to any needs that arise during the night.
* Engage in 1:1 work with children around feelings, emotions, and behaviours, and collaborate with other professionals (social workers, schools, police, health workers) to meet children’s needs.
Pay enhancement:
* 25% uplift for hours worked between 11 pm and 8 am (subject to a start time before 6 am).
* Up to 33% additional pay for weekend work when part of the contractual week.
