Overview
This role is at the heart of a dedicated and caring team and supports day-to-day operations within the administration team. You will work closely with administrative and clinical colleagues to maintain high standards and ensure the team has what they need to provide the best possible care for service users. Coverage of the community building reception on a rota basis is expected.

* Carry out generic administrative activities such as making and answering telephone calls, responding to letters and emails, checking/posting items, and liaising with other departments and sites across the North Yorkshire area.
* Order supplies, manage calendars (organising meetings/events), take minutes, input data, and prepare files and documentation (e.g. case notes).
* Photocopy and file documents as required and act as point of contact on behalf of the clinical team for service users, carers and visitors; respond to enquiries in a patient and helpful manner.
* Provide cross-cover support as required for other community teams and interact compassionately with service users and carers at all times.
* Promote a positive image of the mental health service, the Trust and the people who access our services.
