QUALIFICATIONS
Essential criteria
* Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
* HCPC registration
Desirable criteria
* Qualification of recognised highly specialist skills in relevant areas (Masters or equivalent)
* Post Graduate qualification/experience in leadership
EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria
* Able to demonstrate recent NHS experience or equivalent
* Evidence of current consolidated experience at a Senior Level in relevant speciality
Desirable criteria
* Qualification of recognised highly specialist skills in relevant areas (Masters or equivalent)
* Experience of working in acute and community specialities
Skills and Knowledge
Essential criteria
* Must be literate, numerate and possess advanced verbal communication skills
* Ability to analyse, select and apply appropriate interventions from a range of modalities
* Good working clinical knowledge of specialist and standard community assistive equipment prescribing (including wheelchairs)
* Demonstrate ability to prioritise caseload and delegate clinical and non -clinical duties to staff of a lower grade
Desirable criteria
* Community equipment service PIN holder with working knowledge of local prescribing policy and practices
