An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Manager at Arran War Memorial Hospital.

In support of our core purpose of Working together to achieve the healthiest life possible for everyone in Ayrshire and Arran we are committed to a culture that is Caring Safe and Respectful. You are required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way. Arran is separated from mainland. Ayrshire by an hour long ferry crossing from Ardrossan to Brodick, and in summer, by a shorter ferry from Kintyre to Lochranza. Although located off the west coast of Scotland you can still travel by public transport to Glasgow in two hours. Arran's stable population is approximately 5000 which increases 4fold during the summer months. As well as having stunning scenery the island offers a wide range of outdoor activities and experiences.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Registered Nurse currently working at a senior level to lead the Arran Nursing Team. The post holder should demonstrate management experience, a range of leadership qualities and professional values to develop and lead the teams to deliver high quality, safe, effective and person centred care. This role encompasses the Arran Nursing teams covering the island acute hospital and community as well as providing governance and professional support to other locality teams on the island.
