We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
* Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including health assessments, immunisations, and wound management
* Assist GPs during consultations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to clinical protocols
* Support patients with health education and promotion initiatives
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with data protection regulations
* Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate follow-up care
* Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
Skills
* Proven experience in patient care within a general practice or similar healthcare setting
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy and clinical procedures
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively
* Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding patient service
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team whilst maintaining professional independence
