Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the following: Responsibility for managing supplier relationships Responsibility for day to day purchasing administration Manage inventory levels through system MRP processing Manage ad-hoc purchasing of all supplies Ensure 100% system accuracy with costs, leadtime and delivery dates Proactively manage all suppliers to ensure on-time delivery Query price and delivery discrepancies with suppliers Manage invoice queries in conjunction with Group Accounts Identify and implement cost saving opportunities Review and improve the purchasing function Support sales in sourcing customer specific product requirements Answering telephone calls and distributing accordingly Proactive management of supply chain relationships Responsibility for business purchasing administration Responsibility for daily MRP administration & processing Proactive management of on time delivery Requirements: Ideally 2 years relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing sector Planning and organisational skills Advanced level of IT skills (Microsoft Excel) Advanced level of ERP System & MRP competence Experience of MRP & inventory management Experience of supply chain management Hours of work: 38 hours per week Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience For further information please submit your CV via the link in Microsoft Word format or contact Craig in Staffline on.
