We are looking for a hands-on Production Team Leader with strong people‑management skills to lead a small assembly team in a manufacturing environment.
This role involves hands‑on leadership across wiring, crimping, assembly and shipping, while driving Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP) performance.
Production Team Lead Responsibilities
* The Production Team Leader will need to lead from the front, motivate and develop an assembly team
* Take ownership of your production area and output
* Ensure safe working practices and high‑quality standards
* Manage attendance, RTW interviews and day‑to‑day performance
* Meet production and delivery targets
* Provide cover and support to other production teams when needed
Production Team Leader Attributes
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Production Team Lead or Production Leader
* Experience managing a team of assembly operators or similar
* Experience in Electrical or Electronic assembly is ideal
* Proven people‑management experience in manufacturing or assembly
* Strong understanding of safety, quality and productivity
* Hands‑on knowledge of wiring and assembly processes
* A positive, ownership‑driven leader who builds strong team relationships
Hours: 4 Day Working Week
