Job purpose:
To lead the planning team from the front ensuring thedepartment delivers a positive experience for thecustomer on allocating any installation job to anengineer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning of work across boilers and Air conditioning / Renewables planning team
• Pro-active in resolving issues and building process within your team to make day to dayrunning of the team more effective
• Co-ordinate with teams and ensure that all necessary resources are available at the righttime. This includes ensuring we have adequate staffing for weekends and evenings shouldthe business require.
• Working with the data and Engineer engagement team using data led recruitment forengineers as required.
• Responsible for engaging engineers and building a two-way trust and respected relationship
• Managing engineers and subcontractor workload and diary when supporting planners in theteam
• Positively reactive in covering installation issues in a timely and effective manner ensuring thecustomer is entirely satisfied with the outcome.
• Ensure support is in place for your team when things don’t go as planned. E.g. managercallbacks, call listening and provide ongoing advice.
• Ensure daily tasks are completed and allocated out, in a fair and consistent manner.
• Take the lead in providing help and support within the department, when needed
• Adhering to all relevant legislation, manufacturing regulations and company policies andprocedures
• Building relationships with other teams within the operations departments to work morecollaboratively
• Ensuring calendar discounts are up to date
• Any other duties which may be required from time to time by the Management Team andBoard of Directors, in the course of your employment with BOXT.
Experience and Qualifications:
• IT literate with mainstreamsystems
• Excellent time managementskills
• Clear and effectivecommunication skills with agood command of English
• Coaching skills
• Active listening skills
• Experienced in operating in afast paced, results drivencustomer focused role
• Experienced in leading andsupporting a small team
• Knowledge / experienced in the use of planning andscheduling software
• Experienced in resolvingproblems with a goodoutcome for the customer
• Experienced in direct peoplemanagement
• Driven to deliver a positivecustomer experience
• Able to engage a team toensure collective goals aremet
• Thrives and remains calm in a time sensitive and pressuredworking environment
• GCSE (Or equivalent) Maths andEnglish - Graduate calibreNVQ L3 BusinessAdministration / Customerservices (or similar)
