About the team
You will be joining our team of talented Agile Product Owners and Product Managers working on our Omnichannel programme, part of the wider Strategic Expansion team. Each Product Manager is responsible for building out the proposition in their area: defining the roadmap, delivery of features on time and on budget, and ensuring the commercialisation of the resulting product.
What you will be doing
Product Managers transform great ideas, commercial asks and technology into experiences that delight our customers. For your allocated initiatives key responsibilities will include:
* Understanding our customers’ requirements, demonstrating industry experience and acting as the central point of contact for a variety of Omnichannel initiatives
* Defining product propositions built on solid business cases; developing that into a product roadmap and translating changes into feature requests
* Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to set near and long-term objectives, identifying and defining metrics-based goals, then driving progress against those goals.
* Writing agile features with clear acceptance criteria, targeted to iteratively improve capabilities over time while validating their impact towards your defined goals
* Working with the Product Owners to hand over that feature into the development backlog, and collaborating with the Product Owners and engineering teams through build and test
* Defining KPIs, tracking results, and driving improvements
* Building proposition decks for the initiatives you own, then working with the relevant teams to commercialise the offering
* Transferring that product expertise across the organisation through product training
What you bring:
* Experience of a product organisation and agile processes (experience of SAFe is preferable but not essential)
* Ability to communicate requirements clearly to the Product Owners and development teams
* Requirements gathering and analysis skills
* Articulate communicator; an ability to present product demos to large audiences
Added bonus if you have:
* Omnichannel experience, especially with a focus on instore
* Knowledge of FinTech and the Payment Processing industry
* Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS)
* The confidence to challenge others in a constructive manner
