Our store
Opening its doors in 2007, Specsavers Thetford has gradually expanded to 5 Test rooms.
Location
Located just over 30 miles North of Cambridge and 30 miles South of Norwich. Considering relocating? Thetford is the perfect, affordable rural escape. With access to a local Forestry England Lodge which regularly plays host to Forest Live events and has on-site Go Ape and mountain biking trails. Thetford has it all, the lifestyle, the accessibility and most importantly an amazing Specsavers store.
Our team
With a close-knit, long-standing team consisting of other resident Optometrists, pre‑reg trainees, a part‑time DO and retail staff, you will have a plethora of support behind you, enabling you to focus on offering a first‑class experience to our loyal customers.
What’s on offer?
* Salary: Up to £70,000 (depending on experience).
* Working Pattern: Full Time & Part Time considered. Minimum of 1 weekend day required.
* No late nights!
* Both Newly Qualified and experienced candidates considered.
* Personalised performance‑based bonus worth up to an extra £400 per month on top of your base salary!
* Supervision opportunities on offer.
* Access to all the latest clinical technology (including OCT & fields machine in pre‑screening).
* Supportive Optometrist Director, who operates an open‑door policy and is on hand to assist you as and when required.
