Because we are assisting a highly respected and expanding, family-run business in their search for an Internal Sales Manager. This exciting opportunity ideally needs a person who possesses a good knowledge of all types of floor coverings. Based in the Bromley, Kent area, the successful candidate will be working alongside the Sales Manager (in an equal capacity) to maximise the best possible outcome of each potential project. This opportunity is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis with office hours of 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. The key responsibilities include: Pricing jobs from the measurement and materials lists Liaising with potential customers to qualify and agree on estimates Advise customers on the best quality products and finishes to suit their requirements Booking and scheduling appointments Taking payments and deposits Updating the in-house CRM and job planning app Required experience and professional attributes: Experience gained as a carpet fitter/ floor layer (or from within the carpet/ floor covering industry in general) Possess an excellent knowledge of carpets and floor coverings Sales, or customer service experience Excellent IT literacy and numeracy skills (emails, databases, typing quotes) A working knowledge of Masterpiece, Carmen (or similar) would be a distinct advantage Possess proven negotiating and objection handling skills Possess amazing people skills – face to face, and over the phone What’s in it for YOU?
