We are currently recruiting multiple Senior Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modellers for various major long-term frameworks across the UK.
In addition to ongoing programmes across the UK water industry, RPS and Tetra Tech have secured a £100 million single-award framework from United Utilities to enhance river health in Northwest England.

Under this 10-year framework, RPS will optimize programs, develop solutions, and select the best options based on value, carbon footprint, and cost, aiming to deliver exceptional water services and foster a resilient, eco-friendly Northwest.
About The Team:
RPS Water Consulting comprises Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy to support business planning and delivery. The industry is evolving, requiring innovation, dedication, and teamwork.
We also work with several major UK water companies, with a broad portfolio of long-term frameworks. Our programmes are leading into AMP8 and beyond, offering long-term career growth and legacy opportunities.
About You:
Ideal candidates have experience in urban drainage projects and proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and GIS software. Strong teamwork skills, leadership potential, and client service focus are essential.
Your Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver wastewater catchment strategies, including hydraulic modelling, analysis, and cost-benefit studies.
* Assess solution feasibility and engineering buildability factors.
* Improve tools, procedures, and processes for efficiency and innovation.
* Ensure quality and standards compliance.
* Travel may be required to client sites or offices.
* Lead and manage project teams, fostering strong client relationships.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Knowledge of water industry legislation and regulation.
* Experience managing projects or supporting project managers.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Expertise in InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
* Deep expertise in hydraulic modelling and wastewater infrastructure.
* Proficiency in MS 365, Excel, PowerBI, SharePoint; GIS systems knowledge.
* Experience with FME, Optimatics, Python is advantageous.
Qualifications:
* Degree in a relevant technical subject; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
* Chartered or working towards chartership.
* Membership or in the process of applying to professional institutions like IET, InstMC, or CIWEM.
