Supply Staff Required
Cover People UK are seeking passionate and flexible Secondary Learning Support Assistants to work on a supply basis across schools in North Manchester. We are experiencing increased demand for high-quality support staff and are keen to hear from individuals with a diverse range of professional backgrounds and experience of working with children.
Who We're Looking For: We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including (but not limited to):
* Youth Support Workers Bring your experience in guiding and mentoring young people
* Community and Outreach Workers Use your communication and engagement skills to make a real difference
* Sports Coaches and Individuals with a Background in Sports While not essential, a sports background is highly desirable due to the positive impact it can have on engagement, behaviour, and well-being in young people
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assist in managing challenging behaviour and implementing behaviour support strategies
* Support the delivery of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Help to foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals
* Offer mentoring and encouragement to help students reach their full potential
