About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and IT skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
The Maintenance Operative will ensure residents live in a well-maintained environment by conducting inspections, audits, and keeping records up to date. Responsibilities include replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, and wallpapering, all carried out with kindness and professionalism.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to act. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
