We’re looking for a Community & Social Marketing Executive to help us spark conversations, build an audience, and foster engagement that leads to real brand momentum. Experience
What You’ll Bring
* 1–3 years of experience in a community, social, or content role
* Passion for building online communities and digital engagement
* Familiarity with tools like Canva, Capcut, Brand24, or other planning/social platforms
* Clear communication and the ability to write snappy, on-brand copy
* Curiosity, creativity, and the confidence to try new formats and ideas
* Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or agency environments is a plus
Tasks
What You’ll Do
Own the Content Calendar
* Build and maintain a high-impact content schedule across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, email, and any new channels you recommend
* Ensure a consistent stream of engaging, community-driven content that aligns with brand goals and drives ongoing engagement
Own and Launch New Community Channels
* Own & Grow the Online Community – Ability to turn a Discord/Reddit/Facebook Group into the go-to place for discussions, insights, and peer-to-peer engagement - that ultimately turns to leads and paying customers for Base.com.
* Build a strategy to grow followers, discussions, and interactions
* Turn these communities into high-value touchpoints that spark word-of-mouth growth
Drive Social Content Creation
* Use tools like Canva, Capcut and AI tools to create lightweight, brand-aligned content
* Collaborate with freelancers/agencies for long-form and complex pieces like user videos, case studies, and webinars.
Fuel Engagement and Advocacy
* Foster peer-to-peer conversation by spotlighting sellers, sharing insights, and asking the right questions
* Manage comments, DMs, and replies to keep engagement active and positive
* Identify opportunities to repurpose community feedback into content with our Content Manager
️ Support Brand Building in Real Life
* Attend key e-commerce or industry events to document team presence and engage with sellers
* Capture content from meetups, expos, or roundtables to use across platforms
Stay on the Pulse
* Use social listening tools (e.g., Brand24, Sprout Social) to monitor sentiment, track engagement, and identify trending topics
* Keep our team informed on what’s resonating, what needs a tweak, and where we should go next
