Identify and manage the risks to the client through on-site equipment, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of plant and equipment, managing environment conditions on site through the BMS system, and running all plant and equipment efficiently. Improve and implement the preventative maintenance program. Use new equipment and technologies to maintain a working and comfortable environment, liaising with the client on requests for reactive and PPM tasks. Fault finding on HVAC plant and equipment with a bias to the maintenance of Variable Refrigerant Volume systems. Work with refrigerants and hold the necessary qualifications for F-Gas handling. Support others in Health and Safety; perform the role of Energy Champion and assist as Safety Champion for the site. Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team. Write and follow Risk Assessments and be available to question issues safely and accurately. Complete required documentation as per rules and legislation. Use mobile devices to project and complete works from the CAFM Maintenance System. Use emailing and calendars to plan daily work requirements to complete tasks efficiently. Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to manage Building Services issues and respond confidently and accurately as required. Be the responsible person for the team and deputise for the site supervisor during annual leave or sickness where required. Occasional overtime (including nights and weekends) may be required. Perform adhoc duties as needed. Supervise and manage sub-contractors. Participate on an on-call rota for emergency call outs outside normal working hours.

 * Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team
 * Write and follow Risk Assessments and question issues safely and accurately
 * Complete documentation in accordance with rules and legislation

Qualifications
 * Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship
 * Strong proven experience in HVAC maintenance
 * Mechanical competences/qualifications to City & Guilds Mechanical standards
 * Good multi-skilled ability
 * Ability to fault find
 * Ability to supervise contractors
 * Able to complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements
 * Able to understand and write Permits and safe systems of work
 * F-Gas safe handling and use of refrigerants
