NW Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a national education provider to recruit an exceptional Teacher of Maths in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to nurture today’s young people and inspire tomorrow’s leaders within a high-performing and supportive educational environment. * Salary Range: £31,650 to £49,084 per year (MPS/UPS scale) * Application Deadline: Thursday, 15th May 2025 at Midnight (should the role not be fulfilled at this stage, temporary placements may be offered). * Position Type: Teaching Role * Contract Basis: Permanent Appointment * Educational Phase: Secondary School * Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week * Job Location: Blackpool, Lancashire The working environment: A state-of-the-art secondary school for pupils aged 11 to 16, based in Blackpool. The school became part of our client’s scope in 2016 and, like all schools within the business - holds a specialism in leadership. The school is seeking to appoint an outstanding, experienced teacher of maths with a proven track record of raising pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will become part of the network - renowned for educational excellence and for employing some of the most talented professionals in the sector. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality teaching that inspires a love of learning and support strong academic progress. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a clear passion and commitment to improving outcomes for pupils, enhancing not only their outputs but young people’s lives. Strong teamwork, effective organisational skills, and the ability to positively influence and encourage both learners and peers are paramount to the success of this position. What does the day to day look like? * Develop and prepare learning materials tailored to suit the age range and academic level of pupils. * Deliver, evaluate, and adapt lessons that align with students’ abilities and stages of development to support their educational progress. * Monitor, document, and communicate students’ learning outcomes, growth, and achievements as required. * Oversee classroom dynamics and utilise teaching tools effectively to foster a constructive and resourceful learning environment. * Participate in scheduled meetings and fulfil related administrative responsibilities as part of the role. The successful candidate considerations: * A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * The ability to teach their subject to GCSE level * A proven record of delivering strong pupil attainment and achievement * Proven experience of using innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse, challenge, and progress learners About the business: Our client is a high-performing multi-academy trust operating over 30 primary and secondary schools across the country.
