We have an exciting new vacancy for a Bar and Restaurant Manager to join our team at The Meon Valley Hotel & Country Club. This 113-bedroom Hotel is set in 225 wooded acres with plenty of amenities including a swimming pool, a spa and a gym, with good motorway access to commute to nearby cities like Southampton and Portsmouth.
Please note: Due to the rural location of the hotel and the lack of public transport links to The Meon Valley Hotel & Country Club, applicants must be able to reliably commute to the site by their own means.

Your duties will include:
Being a hands-on restaurant manager providing excellent customer service
Recruiting, training and managing all restaurant staff while leading by example
Arranging staff rotas according to business needs.
Working together with the kitchen to ensure an excellent food service every time
Managing stock control, upselling, the guest experience and the operations of the restaurant
Leading with an excellent standard of customer service
Effectively control stock movement and all money received.
Recruiting, training, developing and managing all bar staff.
Ensuring all staff work within the confines of the Licensing Law.
The successful candidate will have previous similar experience as a Bar Manager and Restaurant Manager.You will also have excellent communication skills with both colleagues and with customers and be available to work varied shifts.
