A unique opportunity has arisen for a dedicated educator to join a pupil referral unit (PRU) in Salford, delivering engaging and accessible Science lessons to students aged 11-16 who require alternative provision. This full-time role is to start immediately and is expected to continue until at least July 2026, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for planning and delivering KS3 and KS4 Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, adapting content to meet the needs of learners with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and other barriers to mainstream education. Class sizes are small, with high levels of support from experienced teaching assistants and pastoral staff.
