Working Model: Hybrid (1 day home working)

Salary: Up to £45,000


We’re working with a well-established organisation in the Coventry area that’s investing in its People Services function as part of a broader transformation journey.


They’re looking for a Business Improvement Manager to help modernise their HR Shared Services function by improving internal processes, driving smarter service delivery, and supporting the rollout of digital tools/automation.


If you’ve led change projects, understand HR systems, and enjoy turning insight into action—this could be a strong fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Leading change projects informed by data, feedback, and stakeholder collaboration
* Redesigning HR Shared Service processes and supporting the rollout of new ways of working
* Maintaining and evolving self-service tools and intranet content
* Creating clear training resources and process documentation
* Contributing to the automation of key People processes (e.g. pay review cycles, bonus workflows) and the introduction of digital tools (e.g. chatbots) to help reduce admin and improve response times
* Maintaining knowledge banks and standard operating procedures
* Leading data cleansing activity and improving internal document systems


What You’ll Need

* Proven experience in HR operations, service improvement, or business change
* Strong understanding of agile principles and stakeholder engagement
* Comfortable using reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
* Experience with HR systems (Workday experience is a bonus)
* Clear communicator with a collaborative and proactive approach
* Well organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
