The Role As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children aged 3-5 in Nursery and Reception classes. Working alongside teachers and other support staff, you will help to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and develop key skills. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting children with daily routines, such as settling in, snack time, and outdoor play Assisting the class teacher in delivering play-based activities that promote early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills Encouraging social development, cooperation, and independence in young learners Observing children's progress and contributing to assessments and learning journals Supporting children with additional needs, ensuring they are fully included in activities Maintaining a safe, tidy, and engaging learning environment, indoors and outdoors This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on, creative, and energetic, with a genuine love of working with young children. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be warm, patient, and committed to supporting children's development.
