We’re working with a fantastic secondary school in Canterbury that’s on the lookout for a passionate Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department. This is your chance to inspire the next generation of chefs, nutritionists, and Bake Off champions.
Contract: Full time – September start
Salary: £162 - £223 per day
Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging, hands-on lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
* Teaching everything from basic food prep to the science of nutrition.
* Creating a safe, fun, and inclusive classroom where students thrive.
* Supporting students through GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition.
* Getting involved in food clubs, school events, and maybe even the odd cake sale!
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A genuine love for food, teaching, and helping students grow.
* Strong classroom management and a creative approach to learning.
* A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one—we’ll help!).
