Quality Inspector | Dagenham | £29,887–£34,370 | Rotating Shifts Pertemps Recruitment is working with a leading automotive manufacturer in Dagenham to recruit a skilled Quality Inspector. Join a high-profile production environment, ensuring vehicles meet strict quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and resolving quality issues on vehicles. You’ll work closely with Line Leaders and Assembly Operators to ensure vehicles are right-first-time (RFT) and not placed out of sequence (OOS). This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect vehicles and perform road tests to detect quality issues Accurately document and report defects or concerns Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene in line with 5S principles Follow all Health & Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues Contribute to continuous improvement and performance initiatives What We’re Looking For Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment Relevant technical qualification, apprenticeship, or practical quality experience Full driving license Strong understanding of industry safety standards Excellent communication, organisational, and teamworking skills Proactive problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Shift Pattern & Benefits Rotating shifts: 6:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 Friday off every other week Salary: £29,887–£34,370 per year Opportunities to develop your skills in a supportive, high-profile automotive environment Apply Now!
